Ghost Month Move-In

Once upon a time, a seller was selling a house in a gated village. Both parties signed a Contract to Sell, and the buyer paid three-quarters of the purchase price.

The buyer requested permission to move in their belongings just before Ghost Month began, which that year fell on a Saturday. The seller agreed, as she was the last one staying in the house, and everyone else had already moved out.

On that Saturday, the buyers arrived with their large family in tow. Some were busy moving in large furniture, others relaxed in the living room, and a few even took a dip in the pool.

Not wanting to jeopardize the deal, the seller quietly gathered her essential belongings and left the house without making a fuss.
