Right-of-Way

Despite having two regional trial courts issuing writs of possession, notices to vacate, and writs of demolition in February 2022, the owners of two houses refuse to leave their homes for residents to access a newly built bridge. The owners of these houses are demanding 3x the appraised value of a local bank. Meanwhile, other residents are forced to pass through a rickety old bridge.

It goes to show how slow the legal system is in the country. Something to think about if you're planning to put up a subdivision without access to the national highway/barangay roads.
